This is an excellent all in one plotter, originally designed for use in the professional flight tests but so popular we had to redefine its functions for use by student and touring pilots alike. In one plotter the FVP-1 has: · a standard square protractor design, for pre-flight direction measuring · distance measuring in nautical miles in 1:500,000 and 1:1 000,000 scales · a circular compass rose, for plotting radials from an airfield, VOR or way point · a slot along the radial axis of the compass rose for plotting a VOR/DME position, or other bearing/range information (e.g. GPS readout) The FVP-1 is undoubtedly the most useful plotter for any pilot.

It is an essential aid for the JAR PPL skill test, IMC rating and professional flight tests, and is particularly popular with instrument rated, touring and professional pilots.

For Professional Pilots, This i128mm square protractor has a 0-360 scale on the outside edge with reverse 360-0 scale adjacent. Location letters N.E., S.E., S.W., and N.W on corners. With aeronautical symbol cut-outs of a square, circle and triangle. Centre drilled for location and gridded in squares of 13mm(4nm). Supplied in a self-sealing clear plastic case.

The scale most often used. Manufactured with rounded protective ends. Outside edges read to 110 Nautical Miles in 1:500,000 and 55 Nautical Miles in 1:250,000 respectively. Centre scale reads Kilometres to 200 and Statute Miles to 127.
